As the Facilities Technician III/HVAC Tech you will be an integral part in the facilities operations across our entire portfolio. In this role you will play a vital part in maintaining the functionality safety and appearance of our properties through diligent maintenance and repairs while upholding the highest standards of service quality and safety protocols. This is a roving position that will service our properties in the greater Austin area. You will report to the Facilities Manager.
Key responsibilities:
- Execute basic and routine facilities maintenance repairs and small projects in accordance with established service quality and safety standards. Providing consistent updates on work progress resource requirements and any emerging issues.
- Adhere to standard operating procedures while installing inspecting repairing and conducting preventive maintenance on mechanical electrical plumbing HVAC safety and waste management systems.
- Utilize our work order system to meticulously log all maintenance and repair activities for efficient tracking and reporting purposes.
- Collaborate with vendors to ensure the successful completion of projects and complex repairs maintaining a high level of workmanship and efficiency.
- Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements or optimization to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
We are looking for someone with:
- 57 years of relevant experience in facilities maintenance construction or a related field and demonstrates proficiency in a variety of maintenance tasks and repair techniques.
- Strong understanding of mechanical electrical plumbing HVAC and safety systems with the ability to diagnose and address issues effectively.
- Proficiency in utilizing work order systems or maintenance management software for logging and tracking work activities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with team members and external contractors.
- High level of initiative and selfmotivation with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
