Career Paths/ Pay:
Level 1: Groundie $18$22/hr
- Requirements: Drivers license great attitude physical strength and stamina to work long hours in all weather conditions.
- Basic Duties: Support aerial workers with rope operations assist in trimming trees dragging brush hauling wood maintaining clean job sites planting trees and operating equipment like chippers.
- Training Provided: Basic knots job safety communication skills company software tree identification chainsaw operation equipment handling trailer backing and proper loading technique. Advancement: 36 months to Level 2.
Level 2: Advanced Groundie$22$24/hr
- Requirements: Class A CDL after 90 days solid equipment handling skills basic pruning and treefelling knowledge.
- Basic Duties: Advanced equipment operation rigging support and stump grinding as well as everything listed in level 1.
- Training Provided: Advanced knots tree felling rigging techniques jobsite setup and lift operation basics. Advancement: 36 months to Level 3.
Level 3: Aerial Lift Operator/Climber $24$27/hr
- Requirements: Class A CDL experience with spider lifts intermediate rigging and pruning skills. Climbing roles are selective.
- Basic Duties: Intermediate lift operation rigging and pruning. Some aerial workers will become climbers.
- Training Provided: Advanced rigging pruning leadership development and preparation for arborist certification. Advancement: 612 months to Level 4.
Level 4: Certified Arborist Foreman/Sales $27$34/hr
- Requirements: Class A CDL certified arborist credential and leadership abilities.
- Basic Duties: Lead a crew ensure safety and productivity inspire and develop team members.
- Continuous Learning: Rigging climbing pruning cabling leadership growth is limitless
