About the Opportunity
Reporting to the Hospitality Coordinator we are actively seeking an experienced Food services assistant to join our team on a permanent part time basis to cover planned and unplanned leave. Please note our hospitality team are expected to help with cleaning and laundry when applicable.
Food Services Assistant role:
- Assist in the preparation and serving/plating of meals to residents
- Dishwashing clearing of dishes from the dining rooms/residents rooms
- Delivery of friendly and efficient food services to our residents
- Monitoring of food quality quantity and reporting of any issues
To be successful you will have
- Valid working rights in Australia (Passport Birth Certificate etc)
- Complete a NDIS workers check/ Police Clearance
- Flu Vaccination (or willingness to obtain during flu season)
- Evidence of Covid19 vaccination
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents families and all levels of staff
- Strong passion for working with the elderly and dedication to professional growth
