Job Description

Specific Accountabilities Include

  • Administering and updating of QR’s local websites, in line with UX and merchandising best practices and with regulatory compliance.
  • Development of local landing pages for campaigns, fare offers and other regional actions.
  • Content writing, testing and optimizing in line with emerging trends, keyword research and SEO best practices.
  • English copy writing, including but not limited to: offer landing pages, ad copy, marketing emails, social media posts, and website articles. Proof reading as needed.
  • Preparation and delivery of all campaign assets in the required formats, as per the regional messaging calendar, including text, html, image and video.
  • Ownership of the digital asset library, including populating the library with fresh creative and delivering files to the department as needed.
  • Participation in the evolution of best practices; providing regular feedback and suggestions on product management and content strategy to Digital Direct Manager and relevant HO teams.
  • Reporting on all website activity and delivery of actionable insights to management.
  • Monitoring website stability and troubleshooting functional issues across browsers and devices; reporting any issues to technical teams.

Qualifications

The successful applicant will have the following:

  • A bachelor’s degree with 3 years of job-related experience, or 5 years of job-related experience
  • Experience with CMS (Adobe Experience Manager preferred)
  • An excellent copy writer with experience working within brand guidelines
  • A team player who enjoys supporting a common goal
  • An entrepreneurial spirit not afraid to take on something new
  • A highly organized individual
  • Awareness of UX best practices
  • Awareness of SEO best practices
  • Basic design and HTML skills
  • Travel-related experience a plus
  • Fluency in French a plus
