Job Description

As Training and Development Specialist he/she is responsible for designing, implementing and improving lean and effective training and development programs, evaluation processes, as well as adapting the processes and systems developed by the HQ to the country/countries to which they are responsible of; in order to transform them into double-winged employees & leaders, in accordance with the knowledge, skills and competencies required by their positions in the country/countries they are responsible of, where they can learn and develop continuously, by specializing in their fields.

Job Duties:

  • To conduct the orientation processes of the store and head office positions under his/her responsibility
  • Determines the training needs by using training need analysis methods (survey, interview, etc.) that are determined by the HQ.
  • Sources external training providers and resources where appropriate.
  • Designs classroom training, on-the-job training and digital training.
  • Adapts the content of training and development resources delivered to him/her in line with the countries' practices and culture and ensures that they are available in the countries' local language.
  • Creates, updates training materials (books, presentations, course notes, etc.).
  • Implements and follows the steps of promotion and training programs.
  • Creates and tracks the training records after the trainings are done.
  • Tracks the developments of the participating candidates during the program and guides the candidates.
  • Supports the preparation and development processes for Store 2nd Manager, Mid-Level Manager (Section Manager, Head of Stockroom, Head of Cashier) and MT Promotion and Training Program.
  • Organizes the professional competency tests to be applied to the candidates after the training programs, prepares the test questions, applies the tests and evaluates the test results.
  • Determines the improvement areas in accordance with the evaluations on the program and conducts the improvement-development studies.
  • Acts in accordance with the procedures, memoranda, and company values and country regulations.
  • Supports the process of creating or updating a new procedure when needed.
