M & A TRANSACTION DUE DILIGENCE SPECIALIST – BRISBANE – MIDTIER FIRM (Job ID 651

THE COMPANY

Our client is one of Queensland’s most reputable midtier accounting firms with a strong track record in conducting financial due diligence for both public and private companies they offer a dynamic environment for experienced professionals.

THE OPPORTUNITY

In this role you will work closely with the firm's M&A Division at a top midtier accounting firm. You will evaluate business performance identify risks and provide actionable recommendations that shape strategic decisionmaking on significant transactions.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform financial due diligence on acquisition targets
  • Analyse historical and projected financial performance
  • Identify key operational and financial risks
  • Provide actionable insights through detailed reports and presentations
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams and external stakeholders
  • Assist clients with IPO preparations and financial assessments

EXPERIENCE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

  • CA or CPA qualification (or working towards)
  • Must have a minimum 2 years’ M&A experience in corporate finance complemented by audit experience at a Big 4 firm
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting and accounting standards
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate findings and recommendations
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE

  • Will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in corporate finance
  • Mid–tier of big 4 audit experience
