Job Description

We are seeking an IT Help Desk Support Specialist to provide technical assistance and support to our employees and external customers. As a key member of our IT team you will be responsible for resolving hardware software and network issues in a timely and efficient manner. If you have excellent technical skills a customer-focused approach and enjoy problem-solving we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide Technical Support: Respond to and resolve technical issues via phone email and ticketing system escalating complex problems as needed.
- Troubleshoot and Diagnose: Identify and troubleshoot hardware software and network issues and provide effective solutions or escalate to senior technicians.
- Install and Configure: Assist with installing configuring and maintaining computer hardware software and peripherals.
- Document Issues and Resolutions: Document issues resolutions and procedures in our knowledge base to improve support efficiency and knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate with IT Team: Work with other IT team members to resolve complex issues share knowledge and improve processes.
- Deliver Excellent Customer Service: Provide timely professional and courteous support to employees and external customers.

Requirements:

- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows macOS and mobile devices; experience with IT service management tools (e.g. ticketing systems) is a plus.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Time Management: Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and requests in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

- IT Certifications: CompTIA A ITIL or other relevant IT certifications.
- Experience: Previous experience in IT help desk support or a similar role.
