Junior Release Analyst
We are seeking a motivated and detailoriented Junior Release Analyst to join our team. As a key member of the release management team you will assist in driving the release process for our companys products ensuring timely and efficient delivery. This role offers an excellent opportunity to learn and grow in a fastpaced environment contributing to the smooth deployment of our software and services.
Key Responsibilities:
Release Process Support: Assist in driving the release process across company products ensuring adherence to established procedures and timelines.
Stakeholder Communication: Ensure clear and consistent communication regarding release status between internal stakeholders and clients.
Hotfix and Change Management: Maintain the delivery of hotfixes and changes to production environments following established change management processes.
Production Deployment Participation: Participate in production deployment activities ensuring smooth and successful releases.
Incident Resolution Support: Assist in driving the resolution of releaserelated incidents working closely with development and operations teams.
Documentation Maintenance: Maintain accurate and uptodate release and change documentation contributing to knowledge sharing.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve release processes and contribute to the development of best practices.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Experience in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Basic understanding of software development and release processes.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Basic understanding of change management principles.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems such as Jira.
- Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes quickly.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with release management tools (e.g. GitLab CI/CD).
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Azure GCP).
- Experience in a fastpaced agile development environment.
- Experience with working in a remote team environment.
