Job Description
The role requires the incumbent to ensure accurate financial reporting compliance with accounting standards and adherence to Indonesian tax regulations.
The individual must be dynamic experienced in finance and accounting and capable of working independently in a fastpaced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and validate the accuracy of financial records ensuring adherence to relevant accounting principles and standards.
- Conduct variance analysis and resolve ad hoc financial issues in a timely manner.
- Liaise with both internal and external auditors to facilitate audits ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Maintain an uptodate understanding of Indonesian tax laws particularly related to corporate taxes and assist with taxrelated reconciliations.
- Develop and refine accounting policies procedures and internal controls to boost operational efficiency.
- Execute monthend and yearend closing processes ensuring the financial reports are completed accurately and on time.
- Prepare detailed financial statements and management reports providing actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Work closely with various departments to ensure alignment on financial goals and strategies.
- Display a strong commitment to working fulltime at our Batam facility and managing tasks independently.
Requirements
- A degree in Accountancy or a related professional qualification.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in finance or accounting including supervisory duties.
- Extensive knowledge of Indonesian tax laws especially corporate tax regulations.
- Proficiency with accounting software and the Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel.
- Fluency in both English and Bahasa Indonesia (to communicate effectively with colleagues who primarily speak Bahasa Indonesia).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships across different teams.
- Highly detailoriented capable of managing multiple tasks under strict deadlines.
- A proven team player who can collaborate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Previous working experience in Indonesia is mandatory.
