Job Description

We are seeking a Capability Specialist in Capability Area Engineering. As a subject matter expert you will build up knowledge of CAD for textiles and mixed materials. Your contributions will drive the development and implementation of efficient and effective ways of working tools methods and competencies to achieve our strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Expertise Development: Enhance knowledge within CAD data and tools for textiles soft and freeform materials.
  • Operational Excellence: Implement and improve processes and ways of working to optimize performance.
  • Strategic Contribution: Support the business in achieving its goals through effective development of methods and tools.

You will report to Raul Jimenez Capability Manager in Range Operations. Our mission is to create optimal conditions for the business and people to design develop and manage the IKEA range offer in a connected and optimized value chain driving growth and enabling low costs.

As a Capability Specialist you have:

  • Solid Understanding: Deep knowledge of Range Areas and CAD tools for textiles and mixed materials.
  • Continuous Improvement: A strong will to develop and improve within your expertise.

This is a permanent position at IKEA of Sweden in lmhult Sweden.
