- Using telephones twoway radios or text messages tocontact employees or emergency personnel
- Communicates with otherdepartments and clients to ensure that transportation needs are met.
- Ensure that all vehiclesare fully stocked with supplies.
- Maintains a fleet ofvehicles in good working order as well as records associated withvehicles.
- Assigns drivers to jobsand ensures that each driver has the correct documents and permits necessary tocomplete the job.
- Provides feedback whennecessary on timekeeping vehicle maintenance and safety records related tofleet operations.
- Maintains the departmentsfleet of vehicles and records related to vehicle maintenance.
- Reviews schedulinginformation for accuracy checking for overtime compliance and maintainingrecords.
- Audits the schedules ofother transportation employees.
- Keeps records of alldocumentation and documentation related to our service to help ensure that anydiscrepancies are addressed immediately
- Coordinates with otherdepartments as needed such as customer service or accounting to troubleshootdiscrepancies
- Helps answer questions orprovides information related to departments other than transportation.
- Other duties as assigned.

Requirements
- Proficient with computers
- Ability to tolerate high stress situations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and problemsolving skills
- Listening skills and verbal communication
- Experience in data entry
- Proficient in English (oral and written)
- Must be able to follow oral and written instructions (in English)
- Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities
- This position is a safety sensitive function and may be subject to DOT drug and alcohol testing requirements Ability to work 3 12 hours shift and one 1 4 hour shift 3.5 days off a week

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Possess a high school certificateof graduation or its equivalent. Have at least 2 years of dispatch experienceand at least 2 years of prior experience with Transportation Software orDispatch Software.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on acomputer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
