We are currently seeking a qualified permanent fulltime Human Resources Coordinator to join our Corporate HR team based in our Calgary Alberta downtown office. The HR Coordinator will be responsible for providing general HR administrative support across several functions of HR in collaboration with our talented team located across Canada. Duties & Responsibilities:
- Detailed review of Authorization to Hire submittals for accuracy and completeness;
- Creation of offer letters compiling and extension of a variety of offer packages to candidates selected for hire;
- Creation and review of status change and transfer paperwork for employee moves;
- Maintenance of offer documents within DocuSign;
- Completion of project specific hiring & onboarding related paperwork for submission and upload of information to project specific systems;
- Prepare for and facilitate biweekly candidate tracking update meeting with the HR team;
- Coordinate and followthrough preemployment requirements including a variety of project specific Criminal Record Check and Drug & Alcohol testing processes;
- Respond to applicable HR inquiries from employees and management via HR Ticketing system;
- Coordinate and followthrough throughout the hiring/onboarding process as well as continuous related communication to candidates and applicable stakeholders;
- Create and maintain HR related documentation and reporting as required;
- Audit data entry records and ensure strict accuracy and appropriate document retention processes are followed;
- Coordinate project site visits as per protocols that vary project to project;
- Other general HR administrative support as required.
Qualifications :
- Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Human Resources Business Administration or equivalent is required.
- CPHR designation is an asset.
- Minimum of 35 years experience in Human Resources in a high volume environment particularly in hiring and onboarding processes is required.
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills and proven interpersonal skills.
- Strict attention to detail and proven ability to review documents for accuracy completeness and problemsolve.
- Strong work ethic a high respect for confidentiality sound professional judgment and initiative.
- Strong accountability and responsibility to meet required timelines.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills and familiarity with HR systems for uploading information and auditing data entry records.
