Job Description
Perform arc welding on stainless steel and various metal components according to technical specifications
Read and interpret blueprints drawings and technical instructions.
Operate welding and cutting equipment safely and efficiently.
Inspect and test welded structures to ensure they meet industry standards.
Maintain welding tools and equipment in good working condition.
Adhere to all health and safety regulations in the workplace.
Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects on time.
Requirements
Grade 12
Certification in welding (Trade Test or equivalent) is preferred.
Minimum 2 years experience as an Arc Welder.
Stainless steel welding experience essential
Strong knowledge of welding techniques materials and safety protocols.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Experience with MIG TIG or stick welding is an advantage.
Valid drivers license and own transport
Must be willing to work shifts
