About the role

Our Functional Owner in the Telematics domain will technically lead and coordinate all efforts to monitor and safeguard the required features inside the corresponding domain within Telematics projects. She/he will be a main contact for the SWPL and Functional Domain Leaders and for this she/he will need to have a good understanding about the work packages developed in her/his responsibility area and their status.

What you will do

• Technical responsibility within Harman Telematics projects
• Planning controlling and monitoring of all tasks related to assigned domain and tracking of related work product integration (SW modules) into the overall project
• Leading technically the team members assigned to the domain
• Analysis and clarification of requirements interfaces architecture timeline etc. related to assigned domain with the customer twin the impacted Harman domains and suppliers on technical level (e.g. workshops regular communication meetings)
• Support of the project leads in regards to evaluation of requirements and change requests Status reporting towards SW project lead and management
• Problem/issue ticket management related to assigned domain Support for proofofconcept activities if needed
• Ensuring compliance to Harman internal and SW engineering processes required by the customer (e.g. Automotive SPICE) and methods (e.g. SAFe)

What you need

• University degree (MSc/BSc)
• Track record with minimum 5 years of experience in embedded systems preferably in automotive
• Minimum of 8 years relevant experience in SW development (OOA OOD OOP)
• Very good knowledge in automotive System/SW Engineering Analytical skills and good system understanding in the embedded SW area Experience in technical coordination of engineering teams
• Excellent communication and technical presentation skills Experience in working with (external) customers/OEMs
• Selfdriven autonomous and systematic way of working and able to help others achieve their goals
• Good English language skills

What is nice to have

• Knowledge of Infotainment/Telematics systems and experience in working inside Automotive projects
• Good presentation skills Good understanding and working skills in C/C Linux SW architecture (UML) MS Office tools JIRA Confluence ALM DOORS Knowledge of SW development processes (e.g. VModel ASPICE etc.
• Knowledge of agile methods and frameworks (SAFe) is an advantage
