Melioris is a Swiss consulting company established in 2004 exclusively focused on Procurement. We offer companies and public organizations a diversified range of services related to purchasing in particular the costs optimization of direct and indirect spends and the reinforcement of the maturity of the purchasing organization. We also assist our clients in the recruitment and the staffing of profiles specialized in purchasing. Our clients are both SMEs and large international companies with their subsidiaries based in Switzerland and in bordering countries.
We are currently looking for a Head of Procurement (m/f/x) for one of our clients. This client is a multinational company with headquarters in Geneva Switzerland.
The position is an interim management position based in Switzerland or Madrid (Spain).
Tasks
- Team Leadership: Manage two direct reports focused on Training & Communication and Systems & Tools.
- Training: Oversee the Procurement training catalog design and deliver customized training on policies and sustainability.
- Communication: Drive internal communication through newsletters events (e.g. Townhalls Procurement Awards) and maintain the global Procurement SharePoint organization chart and email lists.
- Systems & Tools: Manage systems for sourcing pipelines spend analysis and Power BI reporting. Provide training support and configuration updates.
- Risk Management: Identify assess and manage global Procurement risks ensuring compliance with the global risk management framework.
- Sustainability: Lead sustainability initiatives ensuring supplier compliance with the Code of Conduct and monitoring CO2 reductions via the SAQ program.
- Rebates Management: Oversee global rebate programs including invoice accuracy accruals and payments.
- Contract Management: Ensure proper storage and compliance of global contracts.
- Global & Transversal Projects: Lead key global projects including payment terms review and spend category refinement.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of international procurement experience with a minimum of 3 years in a similar leadership role within a complex global organization
- Masters degree in Procurement Business Administration or a related field
- Expertise in sourcing and procurement
- Strong project management skills
- Experience of designing implementing and managing effective and efficient processes
- Excellent organizational communication and leadership skills
- Excellent problemsolving analytical and critical thinking skills
- Adaptability and ability to work under pressure
- Experience in Fleet Management
