BODILY INJURY/CASUALTY ADJUSTER
LOCATION: ONTARIO
REFERENCE: JOB# 71132
Opportunity:
Our client a wellestablished Insurance Carrier in Canada; They are looking to add an experienced Bodily Injury/Casualty Insurance Adjuster. This position does offer a hybrid work environment.

Key Account Responsibilities and Functions
- Investigating evaluating and resolving large/complex property losses including losses of a suspicious nature from start to finish including settlement negotiations and first party litigation.
- Confirming policy coverage by ensuring the facts of the claim fall within the scope of our claims policies.
- Maintaining detailed file records by entering pertinent data into the appropriate systems
- Involving appropriate vendors within guidelines.
- Liaising with and involving SIU and SDQP team when necessary
- Processing claims payments within the level of authority after verifying claimants entitlement.
- Identifying all Subrogation and Salvage opportunities.
- Training junior adjusters as requested from time to time during course of investigations.
- Handling other claims assignments/projects as required
- Settle claims directly with Plaintiffs Counsel.
- Direct and Instruct Defence Counsel.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 4 years of technical experience in adjusting insurance claims
- Experience handling liability property claims and/or bodily injury claims is an asset
- CIP designation or working towards is required
- Licensed in multiple provinces is an asset
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be a team player with a strong commitment to quality and customerservice
