Required Qualifications
Required: Education: Earned terminal degree from an accredited university. Experience: Candidates should have at least five years of administrative/leadership experience at an accredited university (associate or assistant dean department chair faculty senate leadership center director or equivalent experience). All candidates must have a record of teaching scholarship and service that would justify a tenured faculty appointment at Weber State University

Record of positive collaborative leadership and decisionmaking in higher education. Knowledge of general education program review academic support services honors and interdisciplinary studies curriculum practices and innovations. Knowledge of trends in higher education and a general knowledge and awareness of university academic policies and procedures. Demonstrated knowledge of the expectations of accrediting agencies and appropriate institutional responses to accrediting Understanding of student learning assessment theory and research Ability to manage budgets including experience with grants and other external funding. Excellent analytical communication organizational development skills and ability to manage complex projects.
