CMW is a transTasman Geotechnical Consultancy with 22 offices and over 300 employees throughout Australia and New Zealand. Our projects cover construction and civil engineering from larger longterm national roading projects to smaller residential developments.
CMW has maintained yearonyear growth since its establishment in 2012 and the Sydney (North Ryde) office is looking to bring in an Administration / Project Management Assistant (PMA) to assist the busy project managers and field staff.
Youll belong to our Sydney team of 25 and be connected to the wider administration team for support and training.
This role would be suitable for someone looking for an entrylevel administration position. No prior experience is required; however we are looking for someone who is organized proactive and personable. All further training will be provided.
Responsibilities
Support and undertake activities related to the delivery of projects including
- Format documents including Word Excel PowerPoint and PDF.
- Travel bookings and tracking.
- Photocopying scanning and binding on behalf of the geotechnical team.
- Assist the geotechnical team with subcontractor coordination and management including tracking purchase orders on behalf of the project managers.
- Tracking of project deliverables against schedules.
- Assist with the completion of projectrelated health safety and quality documentation.
- Maintaining CMW NSW vehicles including but not limited to organizing registrations repairs and services record keeping and updating registers.
- Assist and support the Sydney Administration/Accounts Officer the Sydney Manager the NSW General Manager and the team leaders when required.
- Assist when directed with HSE auditing.
- Coordination of office events and meetings.
- Minute taking for the management and technical team.
Qualification/Experience
No formal qualifications are needed for this role; however a strong knowledge of MS Office is required.
Experience or interest in Geotechnical Engineering is advantageous.
