Job Description
Job Title: Electrical Project Engineer
Design plan and implement electrical systems for commercial industrial and residential projects.
Prepare project estimates technical drawings specifications and documentation.
Supervise and monitor electrical installation activities ensuring compliance with standards and codes.
Coordinate with project managers architects and other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless project execution.
Conduct site inspections to verify work quality and adherence to approved designs.
Perform load calculations power distribution design and ensure energy efficiency in systems.
Identify and resolve technical issues and recommend cost-effective engineering solutions.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations electrical codes and quality standards.
Prepare progress reports project schedules and maintain proper documentation.
Liaise with clients vendors and subcontractors to ensure smooth project communication and execution.
Essential Qualifications:
Bachelor s Degree in Electrical Engineering (B.E/) or equivalent; Master s degree is an advantage.
Proven experience (3 7 years) as an Electrical Engineer preferably in project-based roles.
Knowledge of electrical design software (AutoCAD Electrical ETAP etc.) and MS Project/Primavera.
Strong understanding of electrical codes standards (IEC NEC IS) and safety regulations.
Skills Required:
Proficient in electrical system design power distribution and control systems.
Strong project management and leadership skills.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Good communication and interpersonal skills to work with clients and cross-functional teams.
Proficiency in MS Office and project management tools.
Ability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
