Search for competitive and reliable Mechanical Suppliers in Metal Commodity for Pithampur Plant
Sending RFQ and Follow up for quotes.
Negotiate with Vendors.
Conduct Spend Analysis and develop strategic sourcing to create value.
Permanently monitor their performance to be able to keep a very reliable service and performance from these vendors.
At least 6-7 years’ experience in manufacturing in Purchasing components in Metal Commodity.
Knowledge of APQP and PPAP tools (FMEA APQP PPAP SPC 8D-Reporting)
Process compliance
Timely delivery of tasks per set guidelines
Ensure transparency on costs and negotiations
Daily timesheet recording
Sourcing Process Adherence
Knowledge and experience in Supply Chain.
Tools/Systems
SAP (MM) module experience.
Strong Analytical skills. Knowledge on MS Office (excel and PowerPoint).
Soft Skill
Good Communication skills - Written and Verbal English
Excellent communication skills as well as ability to convince others.
Self -motivated customer-oriented and detail-oriented.
Strong Negotiation and Influencing skills.
Misc / Others
Participate in team and department meetings
Handle MECIC – Pithampur suppliers.
Willingness to travel – 10% travel.
Maintain 5S of own area
