We are looking for an expert of Software Development Lifecycle to fulfil all tasks and duties as a Senior DevOps Release Engineer . He/she will review the whole Technical Release Set Up for a global eCommerce platform application. This is within an international project for one of the top 3 food & beverage companies in the world.
What is this all about
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the software release process ensuring the quality of the software and implementing DevOps practices to improve software development efficiency.
- He/she will assess the lifecycle of this eCommerce platform applications identifying requirements DevOps tools & platforms and automation gaps to ensure an agile & DevSecOps ways of working.
- He/she will also participate in the adoption of the new software development lifecycle finding the right balance for the introduction in an ongoing release cycle delivery for eCommerce applications.
- Monitor and report on system health and performance metrics and proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Continuously improve the DevOps process through research and experimentation with new tools technologies and methodologies
Qualifications :
Who are you
- Bachelors degree in computer science software engineering or a related field.
- 10 years of experience in software development with at least 5 years in a DevOps or Release role.
- Deep understanding about software development lifecycle who can consolidate (and challenge) the needs of requestors developers testers platform and system engineers and support teams identifying gaps and dependencies.
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment tools such as Jenkins GitLab CI/CD or CircleCI.
- Sound knowledge of Jenkins and Ansible. Experience with containerization and container orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure platforms such as AWS GCP or Azure.
