Job Description
We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer with strong skills in Python DevOps tools and automation to join our dynamic technology team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in improving and automating our development and release processes enhancing system reliability and ensuring secure and efficient infrastructure across environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and implement robust development tools automation scripts and infrastructure solutions.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure smooth communication between development and operations teams.
Automate and enhance CI/CD pipelines for faster and more reliable software delivery.
Conduct code reviews perform test analysis and support quality assurance processes.
Monitor systems and ensure they are secure against cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues including root cause analysis of production errors.
Develop tools and scripts to reduce system errors and improve the overall customer experience.
Plan and execute system updates software patches and performance enhancements.
Provide Level 2 technical support for deployed applications and infrastructure.
Design procedures for ongoing system maintenance and troubleshooting.
Requirements:
6 8 years of experience in DevOps or a similar software engineering role.
Strong programming skills in Python.
Proficiency with Git GitHub workflows and version control best practices.
Experience with CI/CD tools infrastructure automation and monitoring solutions.
Working knowledge of databases and SQL.
Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and best practices.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):
Experience with containerization tools (e.g. Docker Kubernetes)
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Azure or GCP)
Understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps culture
Education:
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related technical field.
