Job Description

Title Network/Telecom Specialist / NG911 Administrative Specialist Location Raleigh NC (Onsite) Duration 4 Months Interview Type Either Webcam Interview or In Person Job Type C2CW2 Job Description

The NC911 NMAC Network Monitoring and Assistance Operations Center (NMAC) monitors the AT&T Esinet (Emergency Services Internet Network).

  • The NC911 NMAC Network Monitoring and Assistance Operations Center (NMAC) monitors the AT&T Esinet (Emergency Services Internet Network).
  • This position assists the Tier I/II network technicians who monitor the hosted networks.
  • Will provide incident response on the system(s) ticket narration document management and will communicate with internal and external customers site technicians and customers alike.
  • Will provide support to assist with tracking problems through to resolution.
  • This position additionally supports NMAC leadership as well as 911 fee documentation.

Skills Required:

  • Bachelors degree or 3 to 5 years in Information Technology Computer Science Business Administration or a combination of education and experience.
  • Understanding of technologies operating systems networking.
  • Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Excel
  • Selfmotivated enthusiastic and able to handle multiple support cases
  • Strong writing skills to maintain organized documentation
  • Customeroriented and capable of providing high levels of client satisfaction
  • Collaborate and work well with others and supporting a team
  • Experience with VOIP technologies is a plus
  • Experience in a public governance sector is a plus.
  • Strong skills in time and calendar management for team and leadership
  • Knowledge of network cabling network classification and network topology
