Licensed Echo Technician Needed at SUNY Syracuse NY FullTime
Rite Konnection Staffing is in search of a proficient and caring Echo Technician to become a part of our healthcare team at SUNY Syracuse NY. About the Role:
As an Echo Technician you will be an essential member of our cardiology department responsible for performing highquality echocardiograms to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac patients. Working under the guidance of cardiologists and alongside a dedicated healthcare team your role will be pivotal in providing patientcentered care and supporting the heart health of our patients.
Position Highlights:
Location: SUNY Syracuse NY
Schedule: FullTime
Salary: $50/hr
Key Responsibilities: This list highlights primary duties but is not exhaustive.
Perform diagnostic echocardiograms including 2D 3D Doppler and transesophageal echocardiography as ordered by physicians.
Analyze and interpret echocardiographic data to aid in patient diagnosis and management.
Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures explaining the process and answering any questions.
Collaborate with cardiologists to discuss findings and contribute to the development of treatment plans.
Maintain and calibrate echocardiography equipment ensuring all procedures adhere to quality and safety standards.
Keep accurate and confidential patient records documenting all procedures and findings.
Qualifications:
Valid Echo Technician certification or equivalent in the state of New York.
Proven 2 years of experience as an Echo Technician or in a similar role.
Strong understanding of echocardiography techniques and cardiac anatomy.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patientfocused approach to care.
Ability to work effectively within a team and independently as needed.
Detailoriented with strong organizational skills.
