Due to sustained growth they are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Accountant to join their growing team. Someone who has a minimum of 5 years of Australian Public Practice experience. Who is highly skilled and passionate about growing with the firm.

Job Summary:
As the Senior Accountant you will be responsible for overseeing the work of less experienced accountants in your team including job management reviews and training. You will also be responsible for undertaking all production accounting activities including preparation and analysis of financial statements and taxation requirements and delivering quality accurate outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements tax returns and other financial documents.
- Review and ensure the accuracy of financial reports and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Develop and implement efficient accounting processes and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards tax regulations and internal policies.
- Analyse financial data to identify trends variances and opportunities for improvement.
- Lead and manage a team of accountants providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and professional growth.
Qualifications:
- CA/CPA qualification preferred.
- 5 years of accounting experience.
- Experience in public accounting.
- Proficiency in Xero software.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
