Discover all the possibilities of a career at Northside today. Responsibilities:Develops and monitors the work activities in the Histology Lab and the Morgue. Performs routine histological activities of receiving preparing and processing surgical specimens for patients. Qualifications:REQUIRED:1. All applicants should meet the following education/experience requirements: a. Successful completion of a formal histology technologist training program or an Associates degree in chemical physical or biological sciences. b. Certified as an HT/HTL (ASCP) or eligible to take the HT/HTL (ASCP) exam. Certification eligible applicants must pass examination within eighteen (18) months after school graduation or after moving to the state of Georgia. c. Two (2) years experience in a pathology laboratory. 2. Attention to detail good physical dexterity and good written and oral communication skills. 3. All applicants must submit to and pass a ColorAcuity screening Test.PREFERRED:1. Computer keyboard and information system experience. 2. Immuno chemistry experience and/or training. 3.
