What does a successful Host look like

• Greet guests upon arrival seat them and provide menus or information about the establishment.
• Manage reservations track table availability and organize seating arrangements.
• Maintain a clean and organized reception area for efficient guest service.
• Communicate effectively with servers and management to ensure smooth table turnover.
• Answer phone calls take reservations and assist with inquiries or special requests.
• Monitor waiting lists and inform guests of estimated wait times.
• Escort guests to their tables and provide menus or promotional items.
• Assist in coordinating with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and food delivery.
• Handle guest concerns or complaints and escalate to management if necessary.
• Thank guests as they leave and ensure a positive last impression of their visit.
