Vacancy: Engineering Projects Cost Controlling

JOB PURPOSE
- Controlling Engineering Department on the accounting part.
- In charge of the cost monitoring of Projects Entry ticket.
- Reports to Engineering Controlling Manager and functionally to the Engineering Project Director
- Hybrid working regime: in the 1st month 2 weeks in Spain (Madrid or Valladolid) and 2 weeks home office; in the 2nd month 1 week in Spain (Madrid or Valladolid) and 3 weeks home office; From the 3rd month onwards occasional trips to Spain.
- Working hours: flexible arrival and departure times between 7am and 6pm.
KEY RESULTS AND DELIVERABLES
- Optimize performance of Entry Ticket (engineering entry ticket capital expenditures supplier entry ticket preact costs) monitor ET preparation for decision meetings
- Drive the setup of annual budget for R&D costs compliant with pluriannual commitment of the Projects and monitor the followup (plan budget forecast). In case of deviation monitor the convergence process. Ensure the followup of invoices for payment upfront projects.
- For new projects or for Project modification requested by the customer ensure that the RFQ information or cost modification sheet datas are taken into account by PMO and Projects Centralization Cost Control.
- Set risk & opportunities forecasts ensure analysis of actual vs budget and pluriannual actual vs Eng. ET commitment authorize spending compliant with budget objectives
As CPO copilot contribute to optimize the economic performance of Engineering especially by:
- Providing to operational managers reliable economic data and relevant analysis
- Suggesting action plans to operational managers and supporting them in the implementation and the monitoring
For compliance ensure the implementation of the internal control and periodic assessment of its effectiveness especially by:
- Ensuring the robustness integrity and completeness of economical information
- Ensuring compliance with legal tax and regulatory requirements
SKILLS EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
- Academic training: ideally Bachelors degree.
- Professional experience: minimum 2 years of experience in the field.
- English required.
