• Monitoring swimmers and other individuals in and around the water to prevent accidents and respond to emergencies. • Consistently enforcing safety rules and regulations to prevent unsafe behavior and ensure compliance with policies and procedures. • Providing accurate and helpful information to visitors to enhance their experience and promote safety. • Possessing advanced knowledge and skills in first aid and CPR and being able to provide effective emergency medical care. Skills • Must be physically fit and able to perform strenuous activities such as swimming, pulling people from the water, and administering first aid. • Must be knowledgeable about the various risks and dangers associated with swimming and water activities, and be able to identify potential hazards before they become emergencies. • Must be able to pull and carry heavy loads, such as rescue equipment or injured swimmers, as needed. • Must be able to effectively use rescue equipment, such as backboards or oxygen masks.
