In this role youll be expected to actively participate in team meetings and Individualized Education Program (IEP) discussions as needed. Collaboration with educators and service providers will be essential to coordinate therapy goals effectively. Additionally youll play a vital role in educating students families and staff on strategies to promote independence. Monitoring progress updating plans and maintaining thorough documentation will be critical aspects of your responsibilities. Furthermore youll be tasked with assessing students fine motor skills sensory processing and daily living activities. Providing occupational therapy services which may include engaging activities and sensory techniques will be part of your daily routine. Finally youll work closely with students teams and families to develop personalized treatment plans tailored to their specific needs and goals.
