Cost Control Manager

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop implement and maintain comprehensive project budgets ensuring alignment with overall project scope and company objectives.
  
• Prepare accurate cost estimates and forecasts based on project requirements historical data and market trends.
  
• Track project expenditures and variances against the approved budget. Provide regular cost reports to management and stakeholders.
  
• Conduct detailed analysis of cost variances to identify potential savings or risks. Recommend corrective actions to project teams as needed.
  
• Produce periodic cost control reports including forecasts cash flow projections and trend analyses.
  
• Work with project managers finance teams and external stakeholders to maintain transparency and consistency in cost control measures.
  
• Assess the financial impact of changes in project scope schedules and other factors. Update budgets and cost plans accordingly.
  
• Develop and maintain effective cost control systems and procedures ensuring accurate data management and reporting.
  
• Identify opportunities for cost optimization and process improvements across project operations.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor s degree in Finance Accounting Engineering or a related field.
  
• At least 5 years of experience in cost control preferably within the construction or engineering industry.
  
• PMP or CMA certification is preferred.
  
• Strong knowledge of cost management principles budgeting and variance analysis.
  
• Proficiency in cost control software (e.g. Oracle Primavera SAP) and MS Office Suite.
  
• Analytical mindset with excellent problemsolving and numerical skills.
  
• Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
  
• Teamoriented approach with strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  
• Ability to thrive in a fastpaced and multicultural environment.
