Key Responsibilities of the Fitness Instructor:

• Provides efficient and courteous service to all guests and health club members
• Able to demonstrate how to use all exercise equipment in an appropriate manner
• Monitors members activities within the health club ensuring that facilities are used in accordance with rules and guidance
• Give alternative exercises during workouts for different levels of fitness and skills
• Give guests and/or health club members information or resources about nutrition, weight control and lifestyle issues
• Carries out regular inspections of equipment and facilities
• Ensure that the health club is clean and free of health and safety hazards
  
  

Requirements of the Fitness Instructor:

• A proven track record in a similar role within a quality environment
• Hands-on approach with a can-do work style
• Commitment to delivering exceptional guest service with a passion for the hospitality industry
• Ability to find creative solutions taking ownership for duties and tasks assigned
• Personal integrity, with the ability to work in an environment that demands excellence
