Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to oversee all financial aspects of our organization. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with excellent analytical skills and a strong understanding of financial principles. They will be responsible for managing financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and risk management. The Finance Manager will play a key role in driving business growth and profitability while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning and Analysis:
- Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic planning and decision-making.
- Analyze financial performance and key metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior management to optimize financial performance and drive business growth.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Lead the annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads to develop accurate and achievable budgets.
- Prepare regular forecasts to track performance against budget and identify variances.
- Provide variance analysis and explanations to stakeholders, highlighting areas for improvement or corrective action.
Financial Reporting:
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with GAAP and other relevant standards.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Present financial results to senior management and board members, providing insights into performance and trends.
Risk Management:
- Identify and assess financial risks facing the organization, including market, credit, and operational risks.
- Develop and implement strategies to mitigate risks and safeguard the organization's financial health.
- Monitor compliance with financial regulations and internal policies, making recommendations for improvements as needed.
Cash Management:
- Manage cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity for ongoing operations and strategic initiatives.
