Job Overview:
As part of a young aggressive firm poised for exponential growth we are on the hunt for a Strategic Sales Director who can harness the dynamism of the IT services landscape to catapult Velocitai into a new era of success. This role is not just about leading sales; is about being at the forefront of an exciting journey driving Velocitai to scale up innovate and redefine industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Sales Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with the Velocitais goals and objectives focusing on sustainable growth within the IT services sector.
  • Business Development: Identify new business opportunities cultivate partnerships and negotiate contracts to expand our market share and revenue.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct indepth market research to understand industry trends customer needs and competitor strategies adjusting our approach accordingly to maintain competitive edge.
  • Team Management and Development: Lead mentor and expand the sales team fostering an environment of excellence accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong longlasting customer relationships understanding client needs and delivering solutions that meet those needs.
  • Sales Targets: Set ambitious yet achievable sales targets track performance and implement corrective measures to ensure targets are met or exceeded.
  • Collaboration and Reporting: Work closely with other departments to ensure a cohesive approach to market. Provide regular reports to senior management on sales progress forecasts and strategies.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelors or masters degree in business administration Sales Marketing IT or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of proven experience in sales with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the IT services sector.
  • A proven history of driving growth within an IT services environment backed by a robust understanding of the industry landscape both in India and internationally.
  • An expansive network and a reputation for turning strategic connections into profitable partnerships.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies in a competitive environment.
  • Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills capable of motivating and leading a team towards achieving sales goals.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales management tools.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
