Client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Manager to lead and work hand on in our rapidly expanding Milling department. The successful candidate will work closely with our woodworking staff ensuring the production of superior furniture parts while maintaining our high standards. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our growth and uphold our reputation for excellence in the industry.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the production of highquality wood furniture parts using various woodworking machines including CNCs Finishing Flatline and other Milling machines.
Evaluate machine resources to ensure continuous production and minimal downtime.
Set and monitor productivity goals for each Milling department employee.
Communicate regularly with upper management regarding any issues impacting production.
Review the quality of milled parts to ensure they meet standards.
Perform routine maintenance on Milling equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Train newly hired employees in furniture building processes.

Qualifications:
Proven experience in a similar role preferably within the furniture manufacturing industry.
Proficiency in operating woodworking machines including CNCs Finishing Flatline and other Milling machines.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to set and monitor productivity goals.
Excellent communication skills for effective liaison with upper management and staff.
Ability to perform routine maintenance on Milling equipment.
Physical fitness to stand and move for up to 10 hours per day lift up to 50 lbs and perform tasks requiring bending stretching lifting twisting and reaching.
Proven experience in a similar role preferably within the furniture manufacturing industry.
Proficiency in operating woodworking machines including CNCs Finishing Flatline and other Milling machines.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to set and monitor productivity goals.
Excellent communication skills for effective liaison with upper management and staff.
Ability to perform routine maintenance on Milling equipment.
