Compliance and Reporting:
Support in the preparation and filing of indirect tax returns ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Assist in the review and reconciliation of indirect tax accounts and transactions to identify any discrepancies or potential areas of concern.
Client Engagement:
Collaborate with senior team members in managing client relationships understanding their business needs and providing valueadded tax solutions.
Participate in client meetings and presentations demonstrating a strong understanding of indirect tax concepts and their application.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with crossfunctional teams including Tax Advisory and Audit to deliver integrated solutions to clients.
Contribute to the knowledge sharing and professional development initiatives within the Tax practice staying updated with the latest tax developments and industry trends.
Qualifications:
Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
Relevant experience in IDT during articleship.
Strong understanding of indirect tax laws and regulations including GST VAT and customs duties.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex tax issues and provide practical solutions.
Effective communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to interact confidently with clients and internal stakeholders.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel PowerPoint and Word.
Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced teamoriented environment demonstrating adaptability and willingness to learn.
