Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting comprehensive eye examinations and assessments.
• Diagnosing and treating eye disorders diseases and injuries.
• Performing various eye surgeries such as cataract surgery laser eye surgery and corneal transplantation.
• Prescribing and administering appropriate medications and treatments.
• Providing pre and postoperative care for surgical patients.
• Consulting and collaborating with other healthcare professionals such as optometrists and primary care physicians.
• Advising patients on proper eye care practices and disease prevention.
• Utilizing advanced diagnostic and surgical equipment to deliver highquality care.
• Documenting patient records and maintaining accurate medical histories.
• Participating in continuous medical education and staying updated with the latest developments in ophthalmology.
• Ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and ethical standards.
• Participating in departmental meetings and contributing to clinical discussions.
• Participating in community outreach programs and educational initiatives.
• Providing mentorship and supervision to medical residents and fellows.

Required Qualifications:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of residency training in ophthalmology.
• Board certification in ophthalmology.
• Licensure to practice medicine in Chhattisgarh.
• Demonstrated experience in diagnosing and treating a wide range of eye conditions and diseases.
• Expertise in performing various ophthalmic surgical procedures.
• Excellent clinical and interpersonal skills.
• Strong communication and patient counseling abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
