Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 610 years of experience in human resources with a focus on payroll management and a certification from the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). This individual will play a key role in supporting various HR functions including payroll administration employee relations recruitment benefits administration and compliance.

Responsibilities:

Manage all aspects of payroll processing including but not limited to: timekeeping payroll deductions tax withholding and compliance with federal state and local regulations.
Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries related to payroll benefits and HR policies and procedures.
Administer employee benefits programs including enrollment changes and terminations.
Assist with recruitment efforts including job postings screening resumes scheduling interviews and conducting reference checks.
Coordinate new hire orientation and onboarding processes ensuring a smooth transition for new employees.
Handle employee relations matters including conflict resolution disciplinary actions and performance management.
Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data ensuring compliance with confidentiality and data protection policies.
Stay updated on changes in employment laws and regulations ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Support HR initiatives and projects as needed contributing to the overall success of the HR department and the organization.
Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related field.
SHRM certification (SHRMCP or SHRMSCP) strongly preferred.
610 years of progressive experience in human resources with a focus on payroll administration.
Strong understanding of payroll processes tax regulations and compliance requirements.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization.
Detailoriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to thrive in a fastpaced dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Positive attitude and a collaborative team player.
