The About

Our client a globalscale Australian gold producer with projects located in the Goldfields Western Australia is looking for two experienced Mine Site MESOs with relevant certifications and Cert IV in TAE to FIFO from Perth for an immediate start.

The Opportunities

We are looking for MESO candidates to fulfil two positions FIFO Perth to the Goldfields for a challenging opportunity. The position involves working 7/7 backtoback night shifts.

The Role Specifics

Previous experience on a mine site in a similar role where you will be accountable for

Medical: Must be Cert IV in Healthcare (or higher) qualified to deliver firstresponse emergency care and assist site medical employees with any additional first aid response and support as required

Emergency Response (ER): With ERT and ER Coordinator support should be qualified to serve as the primary point of contact. Responsibilities include conducting Confined Space Entry (CSE) permit reviews task observations and assisting the night shift team

Respond to site emergencies as part of the Emergency Response Team including being always on call in a fit state and adhering to the Fitness for Work Policy.

As directed by the ER Coordinator conduct routine maintenance and inspections of all rescue and emergency equipment to a high standard.

Conduct and deliver emergency response training.

Ensure all emergency response equipment is always in a state of readiness

Training: Certification in Cert IV is essential as is the ability to conduct Verification of Competency (VoC) assessments on mobile plant equipment such as EWPs forklifts etc. Prior qualifications on these machines are advantageous but we can provide Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) for the VoC process if needed.

Requirements

Certificate IV in Healthcare or higher

Certificate III in Mines Emergency Response and Rescue

Certificate IV in Training and Assessment

Cert IV in WHS (preferred but not essential)

First Aid Qualification

Drug and Alcohol Testing Qualification

National Police Clearance

Drivers Licence C Class Manual (mandatory)

HR Drivers Licence desirable

BG4 desirable

3 years of experience in a similar position on a mine site
