• Work closely with the Operators Subsurface Teams build strong relationships of trust.
• Establish yourself as the gotoperson for all matters relating to subsurface data management.
• Improvement of information and the management of data
• Actively seek to improve data quality automate and simplify workflows and processes
• Make recommendations and influence decisions at regional and global level
• Create innovative solutions to improve process workflow best practice and service delivery
• Efficient operational support for subsurface and regional teams
• Recognized as a Data manager in one or more data domains or areas of expertise (i.e. Geophysics Geology Geospatial Reservoir Production Exploration Data Science Physical Data Documents Information and Knowledge Management etc.)
• Support the Region/Function of Data and Analytics (D&A) in coordinating and delivering Dataworx services to a team or region.
• Create high quality workflow products for a team or region such as maps crosssections technical documents presentations reports etc. Provide data information management and technical workflow support to Business Teams using core subsurface and mapping applications
• Demonstrate indepth knowledge of subsurface and upstream oil and gas science and technology such as seismic data production data and well data. Acting as business point of contact or Domain Tag for tasks projects data domain specialisms or area of expertise
• Actively use analytical IT tools and technologies e.g. Spotfire Excel Matlab Python SQL R Relational databases etc. and identifying opportunities for their use
• Better access to trusted information and data
• Identify champion and perform data improvement initiatives. Resolve data management migration integration technical and data quality issues.
• Administer access to project and master data stores. Ensure data is correctly loaded to project and master data stores accurately catalogued and metadata captured.
• Ensure key information is captured when data is archived such as seismic data
• Process and Standards
• Lead efforts to implement and embed Dataworx strategies workflows processes and solutions in team or region. Assisting DataWorx in designing and developing standards best practice process and strategy
• Ensure compliance with safety legal regulatory security and governmental guidelines. Accurately documenting data processes standards & workflow
• Communication and engagement
• Lead by example and exhibit values and behaviours expected.
• Secure influence and visibility at senior levels of management.
• Provide support and guidance in one or more specific data domains or areas of expertise (i.e. Exploration Geophysics Geology Geospatial Reservoir Production Data Science Physical Data Documents Information and Knowledge Management etc.)
• Create clear concise highquality communications and presentations. Actively engage with teams to make complex decisions & solve complex problems.
• Encourage and respect the participation and contribution of other team members
• Responsible for communicating data applications systems and infrastructure requirements for their team or region to Dataworx leads and Innovation and Engineering function.
• Actively participating and contributing to relevant Community of Practice (CoPs) or Communities of Interest (CoIs)
