Job Description

We are excited to offer a wonderful opportunity for a dedicated educator to join an inviting school community as an Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Phase Lead. Situated in Barnet North London the school is committed to providing highquality early childhood education in a nurturing and inclusive environment. The ideal EYFS Lead will have the opportunity to collaborate closely with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) contributing their expertise and insights to schoolwide initiatives and strategic decisionmaking processes.

Job Title: EYFS Phase Lead

Job Type: FullTime Permanent

Start Date: September 2024

Location: Barnet North London

Salary: Outer London (with a TLR) Competitive dependent on experience

EYFS Phase Lead Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the EYFS team providing vision direction and support to ensure high standards of teaching and learning for children aged 3 to 5.
  • Collaborate to develop and implement an engaging curriculum suitable for EYFS learners.
  • Support the professional growth of EYFS practitioners through coaching mentoring and training.
  • Build positive relationships with parents fostering communication and collaboration to support childrens learning at home and in school.

EYFS Phase Lead Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant teaching experience in EYFS.
  • Understanding of the EYFS framework child development principles and effective teaching practices.
  • Leadership experience with the ability to motivate a team.
  • Strong communication skills able to engage with children parents and colleagues.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development.
