We are working with a Major Oil & Gas operator to source Logistics/Procurement Specialist to work for Major Offshore Topsides/Pipeline Project. The role is responsible to oversee all Contractors expediting and logistics cycle of North Field Production Sustainability (NFPS) EPC - Offshore and Pipeline Project, by implementing effective strategies and policies to resolve critical/complex issues using procurement, logistics and expediting expertise and knowledge to ensure timely delivery of all materials in line with project schedule and logistics process that is in compliance with international and local shipping and customs rule and regulations. This is a long-term contract role working on a residential basis 6-days per week / 10 hours per day. Please see details below: Title: Logistics-Procurement Specialist Start Date: Negotiable (typically within 1 month notice) Duration: 36 months (potential for extension) Location: Onshore (Site) Working Schedule: 6-days per week / 10 hours per day Job Purpose: Reports to Procurement Lead Establish and maintain alignment with the PMT on project material logistics and expediting needs based on delivery priorities and construction criticality. Manage expediting and logistics associated with Company and Contractor procured LLI including ensuring compliance with project logistics processes and procedures and development of other coordination procedure. Review and approve Contractor’s procurement logistics and expediting procedures and processes. Develop and execute logistics and expediting Plans (overall and individual) that support the project’s goals and objectives including plans for monitoring, expediting and delivery purchase of spare parts and for purchase of bulk materials. Develop and implement effective strategy and plans for achievement of Custom duty exemption for all such materials that are duty exempt and maintain records of successful exemptions in consultation with PMT, Supply and Contractor including the review and modify Contractor’s shipping and Customs clearance documents to ensure compliance with Company’s requirements including terms and conditions. Responsible to manage the entire process for establishment of HS Codes for import duties expentions including implementation against all shipments. Review Contractor’s compliance with International trade requirements especially for materials that are susceptible for dual or multiple use and all the associated permitting and approval requirements and be responsible to manage and approve all project transactions relating to Custom duties payment by Contractor. Review the EPC Contractor procurement status report and identify any inconsistencies and gaps, highlight to PMT to ensure delivery of materials is aligned with the project schedule and support in the evaluation of potential change orders and claims relating to procurement minimum requirements. Ensure effective use of Contractor’s materials management system, coordinate spares acquisition process, and provide Spare Parts Coordination for the project including advise on the EPCM spare parts related activities including obtaining the required Spare Parts List (RSPL) data; work issues as appropriate to ensure materials and equipment are received at needed. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor degree in Engineering or Business related subject. 10 years’ direct experience in procurement/supply chain within the oil and gas industry preferably with Major offshore pipeline projects
