Job Description

  • Program & Operate Milling Machines for the Manufacture of Industrial Blades by:
  • Reading & interpreting Blueprints and mechanical drawings.
  • Translating instructions into computer commands so the machines can perform the correct function.
  • Preparing & loading raw materials and parts onto the machines.
  • Monitor the machines while they are executing the tasks and adjust accordingly.
  • Maintaining & cleaning machines to ensure functionality.
  • Delegate Operational tasks to Operators
  • Stock Take
  • Assist with Department planning.
  • Facilitate staff training.
  • Compile weekly reports.
  • Ensuring compliance with all Health & Safety Procedures.



Requirements

  • Matric or Equivalent.
  • Artisan qualification would be highly advantageous.
  • Microsoft
  • Word
  • Excel
  • Outlook
  • Autodesk Inventor
  • High Speed Milling
