- Program & Operate Milling Machines for the Manufacture of Industrial Blades by:
- Reading & interpreting Blueprints and mechanical drawings.
- Translating instructions into computer commands so the machines can perform the correct function.
- Preparing & loading raw materials and parts onto the machines.
- Monitor the machines while they are executing the tasks and adjust accordingly.
- Maintaining & cleaning machines to ensure functionality.
- Delegate Operational tasks to Operators
- Stock Take
- Assist with Department planning.
- Facilitate staff training.
- Compile weekly reports.
- Ensuring compliance with all Health & Safety Procedures.
Requirements
- Matric or Equivalent.
- Artisan qualification would be highly advantageous.
- Microsoft
- Word
- Excel
- Outlook
- Autodesk Inventor
- High Speed Milling
