CNC Programmer and Machine Setter (CAM software)

Precision Engineering Machine Shops seeks a Trade Tested Artisan with a 3yrs post Trade Test experience as a CNC Programmer and Machine Setter to oversee Machine Setup and Operation Maintenance and Troubleshooting Quality Assurance Safety and Compliance and Documentation and Reporting. You will improving machining methods by using CAM software and offtheshelf tooling minimize setup time set the machine as per drawing specification ensure cycle time on paperwork is achieved replace worn tools reduce scrap levels and achieve hourly targets. Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings schematics and technical documents and all measuring equipment. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Familiarity with a variety of machining processes including milling turning TURNMILL. Strong knowledge of Fanuc and Siemens machine controls. Experience with CAM software (Exp. Fusion 360 or FeatureCAM or similar).
