Job Description

GREAT OPPORTUNITY FOR EXPERIENCED ER RN in our 55bed Trauma Emergency Center (TEC) at Saint Francis. 2 YEARS MINIMUM RECENT ER EXPERIENCE AND EPIC EMR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. Prior Trauma Level I/II Experience strongly preferred. Additional critical care / progressive care / med surg tele experience a PLUS but NOT a substitute for ER. This department provides care for wide variety of patients including those with COVID19. BLS (AHA) ACLS (AHA) PALS (AHA) and NIHSS required; TNCC/ENPC preferred. Unit receives approx. 75000 adult patients per year Levels I III by ground and air. Adult ER takes Pediatric Trauma patients as well as Adult trauma. Nontrauma pediatric patients are cared for in a separate Pediatric ER department. Safety Sensitive position*SUBMISSION COVER SHEET for Saint Francis including PERM address greater than 100 miles from facility required or submission will be declined. Immediate eligibility to practice as RN in Oklahoma required.Start date: TuesdaysSchedule: Blocked schedule NOT Permitted! MidShift schedule option with e/o weekend may be discussed / arranged depending on staffing needs*Safety Sensitive Under the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Use and Patient Protection Act (OMMA) is defined as any job that includes tasks or duties that the employer believes could affect the safety and health of the employee performing the task or others. This position has been identified as a safety sensitive position. This statute allows employers to lawfully refuse to hire applicants for safetysensitive jobs or to discipline or discharge employees who work in safety sensitive jobs if they test positive for marijuana even if they have a valid license to use medical marijuana.
