Lead UI/FRONT END/WEB Developer with BigCommerce

Job Summary:

As a Senior BigCommerce Developer you will play a crucial role in developing and optimizing online B2B store on the BigCommerce platform. Your expertise will drive the implementation of custom solutions and integrations that enhance user experience increase conversion rates and streamline operations. You will collaborate with crossfunctional teams to deliver highquality scalable and innovative ecommerce solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Design develop and optimize our BigCommerce store ensuring a seamless and responsive user experience.

Implement custom themes and modify existing templates to reflect the brands aesthetic and functional requirements.

Develop and integrate custom apps and thirdparty applications to extend store functionality.

Collaborate with the UX/UI design team to translate visual concepts into functional online experiences.

Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.

Conduct code reviews unit testing and debugging to maintain highquality code standards.

Stay abreast of industry trends BigCommerce updates and ecommerce best practices to suggest and implement improvements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.

Minimum of 8 years of experience in web development with at least 3 years focusing on BigCommerce platform development.

Proficient in HTML CSS JavaScript and serverside scripting languages.

Strong experience with BigCommerce APIs Stencil framework and developing custom BigCommerce themes.

Familiarity with responsive and adaptive design principles.

Experience with crossbrowser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.

Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with nontechnical team members.

Desirable Skills:

Experience with other ecommerce platforms like Shopify Magento or WooCommerce.

Knowledge of SEO principles and ensuring that applications will adhere to them.

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
