Senior Process Engineer

Nonnegotiable requirements of this position

At least 5 years of experience in the process industry capacity

Have the knowledge in that industry

Project management experience

MS Suite MS project preferred

There is a 20% bonus opportunity with the role

Required Education Experience and Skills:

1. Bachelors degree
2. Experience should include a minimum of 5 years of project management or process improvement experience in an engineering and/or leadership capacity
3. Must have a demonstrated record of accomplishment in a manufacturing culture focused on safety reliability and process improvement
4. Ability to interpret documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions engineering drawings and procedure manuals and write routine reports and correspondence.
5. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization
6. Develop strategies to achieve organizational goals; Understand organizations strengths & weaknesses; Analyze market and competition; Identify external threats and opportunities.
7. Use feedback to modify designs and generate creative solutions.
8. To perform this job successfully an individual should have general knowledge of Spreadsheet and Word Processing software; Process simulation software; Project Management software; Accounting software; Order processing systems; Contact Management systems; Internet software; Inventory software; Manufacturing software.
9. Follow all statutory regulatory and organizational procedures to protect the environment from hazardous waste exposure.
10. Follow all Federal and State Safety Regulations and company safety policies/procedures; Report potentially unsafe conditions; Aid in correcting unsafe conditions; Use equipment and materials properly.
11. Ideally experience will include metals/nonmetals mining industrial minerals processing or continuous process manufacturing where dry powders were processed and handled as well as experience with process modeling instrumentation systems/programs.
