VAM Systems is currently looking for GRC Specialist for our Bahrain operations with the following skillsets & terms and conditions:

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Information systems or any other related field

• Strong interest in governance, risk, and compliance management

• Familiarity with regulatory and industry standards such as ISO/IEC 27001

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Willingness to learn and expand knowledge in the field of GRC

Job Description:

GRC Specialist is responsible for the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and technologies to ensure the company's compliance with regulatory and industry requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the development, implementation, and maintenance of governance, risk, and compliance policies and procedures in accordance with industry standards and best practices

• Participate in risk assessments and assist with the development of risk management plans to mitigate identified risks

• Able to handle information security awareness sessions

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory and industry requirements

• Assist with the development and maintenance of a comprehensive compliance framework to guide the organization's compliance strategy and activities

• Provide support to business units regarding compliance issues, such as data protection, privacy, and security

• Participate in compliance training for employees to promote a culture of compliance and risk management

• Monitor and analyse compliance metrics to identify potential risks and make recommendations for improvement

• Stay up-to-date with emerging regulatory and compliance requirements and make recommendations for improvements to the compliance program

• Participate in incident response activities, including investigation and resolution of compliance incidents
