About the Job:

An opportunity has arisen for a Bahraini National Assistant Guest Services Manager role to join Jumeirah Gulf of Bahrain Resort & Spa Family.

The main purpose of this position to supervise and ensure the smooth and efficient daily operation of the Guest Services operation, ensuring all hotel guests and visitors receive an optimum level of service and care at all times.

Duties and responsibilities of this role:

  • To ensure smooth and efficient daily operation of the Guest Services Operation ensuring that all hotel guests and visitors receive an optimum level of service and care at all times.
  • Ensure correct protocol and treatment is prepared and given to our high-profile VIP guests.
  • Ensure that all guest arrival and departure procedures are completed as defined in the Guest Services SOP Manual.
  • Ensure that all Guest History Files are well maintained by supervising maintenance of guest history records and carrying out regular spot-checks on the quality & usefulness of the information.
  • Handle customer complaints and feedback according to Jumeirah standards ensuring complaints are recorded when necessary.
  • Act as Manager on Duty.

About You:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • A minimum of 1 year hotel leadership experience, including Guest Service Supervisory/Management experience.
  • A minimum of 1 year work experience for a luxury hotel.
  • A Team Leader or similar in current role within luxury hotel.
  • Detail-oriented, organized and very flexible with working extended hours.
  • A Middle East experience.
