Are you anindividual that has excellent management skills commercially driven andpassionate about swimming I am recruiting a Swim Manager for a fantasticleisure job in South East London. The SwimManager will be highly experienced in leading a team responsible for thecommercial sales programming development and operations of the swim programand all other areas of Swim within the leisure centre. The perfect candidatemust possess a Level 2Swim Teaching Qualification or equivalent.

Responsibilities:

• Manage swim teachers and effectively through training development and performance reviews. Ensuring department communication is transparent and expectations are met.

• Handle swim inquiries; manage sales targets; optimising timetable efficiency to drive and achieve centre objectives providing excellent customer service. Achieved by ensuring correct classes are scheduled at the right time reducing waitlists and preventing bottlenecks.

• Utilise and maintain your aquatic industry expertise to enhance the overall leisure experience by tracking measuring and reporting on the effectiveness of the aquatic program customer demands and demographics. This includes forging positive working relationships with the local Swimming Clubs and Authority Sports Development Teams.

• Promote the swim program using marketing collateral via social media and outreach. Ensure strong communication withthe site teams the Regional and National Aquatic team and the centre &contract manager/s.

The idealcandidate:

• Swim Management experience or background in Aquatics
• Must be fully qualified Level 2 Swim Teaching or equivalent
• First Aid at work desirable but not essential
• Ability to show knowledge of lifeguard safety skills aquatic event management and water safety
• A passion for leisure the drive to succeed and grow the swim program
